ALQHA Criteria for Introductory Shows

The ALQHA Board of Directors voted to adopt the foregoing guidelines in order to assist you in planning your AQHA Introductory (Intro) Show.    If you have any questions, please contact us at alqha@charter.net. 

1.   All Intro shows will be state-point approved. 
2.   To be state-point approved, applicant must submit, in advance, show date/dates
      to ALQHA in order to be published in the newsletter and on the ALQHA website. 
3.    Applicant’s show secretary and show manager must be current year members of
       ALQHA. 
4.    Upon submission of the showbill/class list to AQHA, applicant shall provide a duplicate
       showbill/class list to ALQHA to be published on the ALQHA website. 
5.    At the conclusion of the Intro show, applicant shall remit follow-up fees and a copy of the official
       show results with total entry count for open, amateur, and youth in a timely manner to the ALQHA,
       6100 Wares Ferry Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36117. 
6.   The follow-up fee will be $1 per (AQHA class) entry.
