The Alabama Quarter Horse Association firmly believes that horses can and do change lives.  Please help us supporting StoryBook Farm in Opelika, Alabama.  This year-round equine facility provides assisted activities that are tailored to serve children ages 2 years to young adults who are challenged with life-threatening illnesses, disabilities, mental and/or emotional trauma, and grief … free of charge.

This trail ride will take place at Bear John Hollow in Ashville, Alabama. The location is easy to access, has several great trails, great facilities for horses, cabins for rent, hook-ups for campers, and a lake.  Price includes ride fee Saturday and Sunday, T –shirt,  Meals Saturday morning thru Sunday morning included in cost of ride. Door Prizes will be awarded.      Please open your hearts and your wallets and help support this great cause! 

All net profits made from the ride will go support this wonderful facility and it’s horses.

Bear John Hollow Ranch is conveniently located just 1 mile North of  Interstate 59, Oneonta/Ashville exit on Hwy 231 in Northeast Central Alabama.

AQHA's Ride Program is an international series of trail rides that welcomes horses of all breeds and riders of
all disciplines to celebrate the joys of horseback riding. The Ride Program benefits local charities as
well as the American Quarter Horse Foundation, a charitable organization that provides scholarships,
preserves the heritage of the American Quarter Horse and raises important dollars for equine research
and youth scholarships.


 

 

Join the Alabama Quarter Horse Association (ALQHA)
and qualify for a year end award by logging the most hours riding on either a Registered American Quarter Horse or an All Breed.  Any organized ride qualifies with proof of registration and participation in all ALQHA Trail Rides.
